Join High-Performance Coach and Sport Scientist, Michael DiGeso, on Presidents Day, from 10 AM - 12 PM, for this ultimate clinic that will train and show you ways how to excel your speed and performance in any sports environment.
"The number one asset for all athletes, no matter the sport, is speed. The complex demands of athletics place significant demands on the athlete’s ability to generate speed, power, and explosiveness", explains Mike DiGeso.
Athletes will be instructed to sharpen their acceleration and deceleration, change of direction, power, movement patterns, and max-velocity. Learn how to increase your velocity utilizing the principles of functional bio-mechanics, cognitive psychology, and cutting-edge athletic development.
Registered athletes will be placed in the following age groups 7-11 and 12-17.
Technique, mechanics, hip-mobility, core-strength and balance, predictive and closed drills, and assessments.
Advanced movement patterns, acceleration, deceleration, max-velocity, reactive agility, and explosiveness.
Space is limited; registration will close after the first sixty athletes sign up.
Michael DiGeso is a High-Performance Coach / Sport Scientist with years of experience working with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes. Michael is also a highly decorated US Army Warrant Officer with over 22 years of service leading, advising, and developing small tactical teams and athletes.
Michael possesses immense knowledge of physical and psychological performance and approaches his craft through meaningful engagement and cutting edge science-based practices. Michael incorporates learning theory, positive and change psychology into his program design. Michael’s methodology views athletes as dynamic individuals who perform in increasingly complex competitive environments and require physical and mental development to grow and succeed.
Michael graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Masters degree in Exercise Science. He also graduated from Mercy College with a Masters degree in School Psychology.
