Hudson Sports Complex is very excited to announce that we are working diligently to form an Advisory Board for our entire organization. This committee will be comprised of highly experienced individuals who have held roles within the sports and entertainment industry.
This group will be tasked to work closely with our current team and act as supplemental advisors to provide guidance on business matters ranging from strategy, customer service, and overall event management.
Our founders, Raluca Gold-Fuchs & Christian Fuchs, are very experienced business people so they knew very well that performing an array of due diligence is vital towards achieving success for a new business venture. In this case, forming an Advisory Board is just one piece of building a stronger foundation for Hudson Sports Complex so we can fulfill our mission of providing world-class training space in the Hudson Valley & to have a sustainable business model.
We have several individuals interested in being involved with the Advisory Board and are currently working towards finalizing several people. With that said, we are extremely proud to announce our very 1st member: Craig Shakespeare.
Mr. Shakespeare has decades of experience within the soccer world, specifically, the English Premier League. A native of the UK, Craig suited up for high-profile clubs like West Bromwich Albion & Sheffield Wednesday. As a manager, his most recent job was with a familiar club to us: Leicester City FC.
In a recent interview, Mr. Shakespeare noted his excitement for coming on-board & is ecstatic to join the HSC team as an Advisory Board member. He believes his greatest strength are his interpersonal skills and is very much looking forward to providing input towards the soccer side of the business here at HSC.
We are very proud to have such a humble person as a founding member of the Advisory Board. Craig cites that his mother was the most influential person in his life, especially after losing his father at a young age . His wife and family are also vital towards his success and to who he is as a person which is just the type of individual we cherish here at HSC.
Craig along with Christian were huge reasons why Leicester City was able to achieve their Premier League winning season amongst other success. Craig is excited to once again join forces with Christian and to play yet another large role in the success of an organization. Mr. Shakespeare mentioned to us, "I look forward to listening, evaluating, and discussing both current issues and future ones to help move things forward for HSC."
Everyone at HSC is very grateful for Mr. Shakespeare and appreciate his guidance in advance. The future is very bright and Craig is another valuable piece of the puzzle as we construct HSC into the Home of Champions!
