There were over a dozen dingers, the pitching quality was superb, and there was even a walk-off winning double, but most importantly, there were smiles-a-plenty! Last weekend, Hudson Sports Complex teamed up with Baseball Buddy USA (BBUSA) to host our inaugural 'Fox Den' baseball tournament. We had teams from across the tri-state area join us for an exciting weekend as we celebrated America's pastime.
It was amazing to see the talent across the board on our baseball diamonds this past week. We had U10 to U12 little leaguers leave it all on the field in search of getting those W's and to be crowned champions. There were so many close calls and close plays making it an exhilarating weekend for all!
We are so pleased to be working with BBUSA as we share many of the same goals: we want to provide youth athletes the opportunity to have fun, play competitively in a professional environment, and at the end of the day, we want to help build a championship pedigree.
Congratulations to the championship winning teams, but once again, the best part was seeing the passion & overall sportsmanship from all the clubs. We would like to thank all of the teams who participated, the coaches, staff, families, and umpires. Everyone at HSC is extremely happy to have hosted this wonderful tournament & we cannot wait to do it all over again with BBUSA on July 20-21!
