Pitching Clinic
Set Yourself Apart & Be A Champion.

On 6 March 2021, Hudson Sports Complex is proud to present the Player Zone Pitching Clinic!

Pitchers are the cornerstone of every baseball team. They have the most significant impact on winning and losing in every game they play. The pressures of this crucial position place great demands mentally and physically on the pitcher.

The importance of the right technique.
It is essential to recognize that when pitching mechanics are incorrect, the risk of injury increases exponentially. A pitcher must develop their arm through effective technical instruction along with optimal arm care. For youth athletes, this is a critical component of their athletic training. For example, too much emphasis on velocity can be detrimental to the pitcher's shoulder and elbow, leading to injuries. Quality development leads to high-performance while sustaining the durability of the athlete.

Skill, talent, attitude, and sometimes even a little bit of luck can help along the way, but being prepared & fit are what really sets apart 2nd place and a Champion!
